Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Data Engineer for our client, a government organisation in Brentwood, Essex. Our client has begun to build their data infrastructure using MS Fabric technologies and needs to expand. They are looking for a data engineer to work on data transformation and integration projects. This role is a temporary contract initially for 6 months with the possibility to extend. Hybrid working is preferred, with onsite work for projects. Remote work is available.

Personal Requirements:

  • An experienced data engineer with Python developer skills who will re-engineer current dated scripts and processes and move these into a MS Fabric Environment to transform, store, and export data ready for ingestion into target business applications.
  • Skills with Python for integrations.
  • Knowledge of database and data manipulation techniques to move data around.

Working Hours: 37hrs / 9:00am - 5:00pm / Monday - Friday

Pay: £29.57 per hour

Please note this role is within the scope of IR35.
