Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Housing Officer for our client, a government organisation in Redbridge. This role is a temporary contract initially for 4 months with the possibility to extend.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifying vulnerable residents and working with partner agencies to ensure all residents can live safely and sustain their tenancies, including paying their rent and preventing any tenancy breach.
- Addressing hoarding issues, mental health, and supporting residents with forms and signposting to the correct services.
- Implementing the successful management of anti-social behaviour - proactive case management, negotiation, finding solutions, updating victims, and keeping detailed records.
Personal Requirements:
- Resilient self-starter who thinks well on their feet in a variety of different, often challenging situations and is able to deal with confrontation.
- An attention to detail is essential.
- Creative and demonstrably able to develop solutions to assist residents on the estates.
- Daily use of a car and a full driving licence is essential.
Working Hours: 36hrs / Monday - Friday
Pay: £187.00 per day
Please note this role is within the scope of IR35.
