Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Repairs and Maintenance Team Leader for our client, a government organisation in Conwy, Wales. Do you enjoy working outdoors and have experience operating tractors or specialist vehicles? Are you practical, reliable, and take pride in keeping outdoor spaces looking their best? If so, we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our friendly grounds maintenance team, helping to care for and enhance green spaces across Conwy. This role is a temporary contract initially for 2 months with the possibility to extend. This role is 4 days on site and 1 day in the office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely operating tractors and specialist vehicles.
  • Using a range of tractor-mounted equipment to support grounds maintenance work and cyclical highway verge cutting.
  • Maintaining high standards across parks, open spaces, and landscaped areas.
  • Working as part of a hands-on, supportive team to deliver quality outdoor environment.

Personal Requirements:

  • Relevant driving licences and experience operating tractors and associated implements (e.g. flails, gangs, harrows, winches).
  • A strong commitment to health and safety.
  • A reliable, positive, and team-focused attitude.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).

Working Hours: 37hrs / Monday - Friday

Pay: £16.88 per hour

Please note this role is within the scope of IR35.
