Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Communications Change Manager for our client, a local government organisation based in Bedford. The successful post holder will support delivery of the organisation's Improvement Plan and wider organisational change required to secure long-term financial sustainability. The postholder will lead improvements to internal communications, ensuring messages are clear, timely, consistent and accessible. This role is a temporary contract with an initial contract of 3 months, with the possibility to extend. This role involves hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days per week on site required.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Develop and deliver an internal communications and engagement plan to support the organisation's Improvement Plan and wider change programme.
- Review and enhance internal communication channels, ensuring messages are timely, accessible, consistent, and effectively communicated across the organisation.
- Produce engaging communications, staff updates, leadership briefings, and key messages that support organisational improvement, financial sustainability, and change initiatives.
- Support senior leaders and managers to communicate organisational change effectively, providing guidance on messaging, timing, and stakeholder engagement.
- Coordinate engagement activities across services, gathering feedback, identifying challenges, and promoting best practices.
