3.5 Tonne/7.5 Tonne Driver (Multi-Drop)

Positive Employment is currently recruiting for 3.5t/7.5t vehicle delivery drivers for our client, an established white goods organization in Bolton.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in helping everyone enjoy amazing technology. Not only will they be safely delivering, installing, and collecting a range of electrical products into our customers\’ homes, including White Goods, Televisions, and cookers, but they will also be the face of Currys and help us become a market leader by providing unrivalled customer service. This role is a 3-month contract with the possibility to extend.

Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Safely deliver, install, and demonstrate White Goods, Televisions, and Cookers in our customers\’ properties.
• Engage with customers, keep them informed, and ensure their delivery and installation are carried out to the highest standards following best practice guidance.
• Maintain regular contact with your site throughout the day to meet any changes to a customer delivery request, discuss and escalate unplanned issues, seek guidance, and adapt as necessary.
• Ensure the handheld operating device (Savvy) is always used correctly by completing visits and obtaining customer signatures.
• Liaise with manufacturers at the point of delivery when necessary.
• Handle all products safely and with care, supporting your colleagues to do the same.
• Manage changing volumes of load held in the vehicle during the day. Regularly review, adjust, and secure the load to ensure safety while using equipment provided (e.g., straps and snack bars).
• Work compliantly, following driving regulations, site-specific requirements, company policies, and health and safety policies to keep our customers and colleagues safe.

Personal Requirements:

• A full UK/EU B driving license (with a maximum of 6 penalty points) or A full UK/EU C1 driving license (with a maximum of 6 penalty points).
• Experience in white goods delivery is advantageous.
• Valid Digital Tachograph card (7.5t).
• Driver\’s Certificate of Professional Competence Qualification (7.5t).
• Physical ability to deliver goods of significant size and weight.

Working hours: Varied shift times – shift time ends upon completion of deliveries / Monday to Friday

Pay: £18.27 per hour

Please note this role is within the scope of IR35.
