Our customer wishes to create an exemplar information set, which is a collection of integrated, coherent digital engineering data based on Model Based Engineering (MBE) principles that represents the key aspects of their product development lifecycle, available in the selected engineering toolchain based on ongoing End to End MBE project. To do this, they wish to benefit from external expertise in the area of MBE and MBSE (Model Based Systems & Software Engineering) to achieve the following objectives:

  • Support of the development of an exemplar information set for the implementation of the MBE & MBSE method as a wide implementation in chosen tool chains.
  • Support in validating the MBE Framework and way of working based on methods and guidelines provided by the MBE feature teams.
  • The Exemplar information set should be a collection of integrated, coherent digital engineering data including MBSE Models at three different product breakdown levels, associated Systems engineering artifacts Requirements, Proving Requirement/Test Points, Design Statements, Test Management artifacts (Test case, test steps etc.) and viewpoints between Systems engineering and other domains i.e. Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Performance and simulations.

Requirements:

  • Must have the required experience in applying the MBSE methodology, SysML modeling language, change & configuration management and tools preferably with IBM ELM (DOORS Next, ETM, EWM, GC), IBM Rhapsody and Capella with knowledge of ALM & PLM in the context of digital continuity.
  • Stakeholder management on technical topics relevant to this topic.
  • English must be the preferred language.
  • Direct support to customer in terms of MBE & MBSE process and methodologies, Tool coaching & Technical tool support.

Experience:

  • SysML modeling language: 5 years (required)
  • Systems engineering: 5 years (required)
  • IBM ELM (DOORS Next, ETM, EWM, GC), IBM Rhapsody and Capella: 5 years (required)
