We're looking for an experienced Senior IT Security Manager to take ownership of IT security, compliance, infrastructure operations, and day-to-day IT support across a fast-moving, modern SaaS environment. What You'll Be Doing

  • Reactive IT Support (20-25%) – Lead the internal IT helpdesk function, ensuring smooth access management, device setup, SaaS administration, and onboarding/offboarding workflows. Expect a mix of predictable tasks and fast-moving ad-hoc support.
  • Security & Compliance (25-30%) – Serve as the guardian of the organisation's security posture, monitoring controls, managing audits, reviewing vulnerabilities, handling incident response, and driving continuous compliance across frameworks such as ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials.
  • Infrastructure & Operations (20-25%) – Oversee the device fleet, MDM platforms, network and AV equipment, hardware lifecycle, and vendor relationships. Includes provisioning, policy enforcement, and ensuring operational resilience.
  • Strategic Security Projects (25-30%) – Lead long-term initiatives including security roadmap delivery, policy development, security awareness training, business continuity planning, and vendor risk management.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Managing user access, SaaS tools, and device provisioning
  • Monitoring security alerts, email authentication, and vulnerability reports
  • Coordinating incident response and cross-functional security escalations
  • Maintaining compliance tooling and supporting external audits
  • Overseeing MDM, endpoint protection, and zero-trust network tooling
  • Running security awareness and phishing simulation programmes
  • Managing vendor risk assessments and tooling renewals
  • Collaborating with People, Finance, Engineering, and leadership teams
