Join a leading defence organisation supporting critical manufacturing operations. This role focuses on the development and support of tooling and fixtures used in assembly processes, working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare tooling and fixture solutions for manufacturing assembly
  • Act as a liaison for manufacturing teams, resolving issues and defects related to existing tooling
  • Support functional and environmental trials of tooling systems
  • Collaborate with suppliers and purchasing teams to resolve technical queries
  • Plan and report daily activities to meet project milestones
  • Gather data and produce tooling specifications and requirements documentation
  • Challenge non‑essential requirements to reduce unit production cost and design complexity
