Position 1 Recruitment are working with an established engineering company, who are looking for a Sales and Proposals Administrator to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact, managing enquiries and providing full administrative support
  • Maintain and update the CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics AX)
  • Receive, review, and acknowledge sales enquiries, verifying customer details and gathering additional information as required
  • Prepare and issue quotations for standard products
  • Assist with costing for bespoke designs, including heating calculations and proposal preparation
  • Follow up on quotation status and maintain communication with customers
  • Prepare and send documentation and certification to customers as required
  • Ensure all quotations meet customer specifications and comply with company standards and regulations
  • Create and update stock codes
  • Support general office operations and provide cover for order processing when required
  • Produce and distribute monthly reports to the Sales team
  • Confident using computer systems and CRM software

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a sales support role, including order processing and/or quotation generation
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience with technical products or industrial environments
