Position 1 Recruitment is hiring an experienced Quality Inspector for a leading engineering manufacturer. Ideal for candidates with quality control experience in hazardous area and high-pressure equipment.
Role Overview: Ensure all products meet strict quality standards throughout manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming products: dimensional checks, electrical resistance, coating, PMI.
- Review material/test reports for compliance and traceability.
- Manage rejections, corrective actions, and liaise with external providers.
- Verify parts, conduct visual/electrical testing, and prepare for dispatch.
- Keep accurate inspection records and resolve issues with production teams.
- Support training of new staff.
- Work to BS EN ISO 9001, Quality & H&S standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in FMCG or non-food manufacturing inspection.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 900 standards.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Independent, organized, and team-oriented.
Hours: Mon–Thu 07:30–16:30, Fri 07:30–12:30
