Position 1 Recruitment is working with a well-established engineering and manufacturing company to hire a Project Administrator. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, supporting projects and engaging with stakeholders.
Working Hours & Location:
- Hybrid work: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home (after probation)
- Monday–Thursday: 08:30 – 17:30
- Friday: 08:30 – 13:30 (early finish)
Project Administrator – Key Responsibilities:
- Compile and manage project and technical documentation for client submissions.
- Drive timely documentation flow across departments to meet project deadlines.
- Identify and escalate project risks, maintaining and updating the risk register.
- Support end-to-end project coordination to ensure on-time delivery.
- Track and follow up on documentation approvals to prevent delays.
- Assist with procurement processes, including work orders and BOM updates.
- Monitor critical project documentation and proactively flag risks to Project Managers.
- Act as a communication link between project teams and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project data in AX and CRM systems, including delivery timeline.
You will need:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Confident communicator, able to liaise with internal teams, clients, and expeditors.
- Experience supporting projects in a fast-paced or technical environment.
- Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., AX, CRM) is advantageous.
