Salary: Β£37,000 - Β£42,000 PA & daily expenses allowance

Position 1 Recruitment are pleased to be working with a well-established engineering company who are looking to welcome a Mobile Electrical Installation Engineer to their team. This is a mobile position, requiring regular travel across the UK. The successful candidate will typically work away Monday to Friday, with accommodation and expenses fully covered. Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and assemble bespoke electrical control panels and systems
  • Interpret and work from wiring schematics and layout drawings
  • Carry out cable termination and electrical assembly to a high standard
  • Work with galvanised trunking and conduit systems
  • Support basic mechanical assembly tasks where required
  • Work both independently and collaboratively on sites across the UK
Candidate Experience / Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in electrical installation or a similar role
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
  • Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles
  • Experience in cable termination and electrical assembly
  • High standards of workmanship with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working at height
  • Valid CSCS or ECS card OR previously held one and happy to refresh
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (desirable)
