Position 1 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Revit Technician to join a successful Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy based in Peterborough. Due to an expanding workload, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects and grow your skills within a dynamic, professional team.
The Revit Technician will be an experienced Autodesk Revit user, preferably with an ICE or IStructE EngTech qualification and demonstrable experience. They will have experience working on projects conducted to BIM Level 2 and be conversant with associated protocols. The successful applicant will have a good knowledge of building details and have worked on projects incorporating steelwork, concrete, masonry and timber, and be proficient in RC detailing and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop fully detailed Revit models by interpreting engineers’ calculations and sketches.
- Liaise with clients and project team members to ensure coordinated Revit models.
- Support projects through construction stages, addressing queries from site regarding model details.
- Mentor and oversee less experienced technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure models and drawings are delivered to a high standard and meet project requirements.
This is a full-time permanent position, with great benefits including 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with length of service), Christmas and January bonuses subject to business performance, and increased pension contribution.
