Quality Control Technician x 3 /Norwich/ Full-time temporary ongoing – £13.73 p/h
Position 1 Recruitment are currently seeking Quality Control Technician x 3 to join our client’s team. Our client is an engineering business based in Norwich. This role offers 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Thu 7:45-16:30 with unpaid lunch break 12:30-13:00; Fri 7:45-12:15.
The Quality Control Technician will take an active role within the Quality Department, ensuring product components are inspected to meet design requirements.
Key Requirements:- Carry out quality inspections accurately and within agreed timescales
- Inspect purchased goods at supplier sites and upon receipt
- Inspect in-house manufactured components and completed assemblies
- Conduct inspections during build, final assembly, and on returned machines
- Complete inspection paperwork and quality reports as required
- Perform dimensional checks and investigations when needed
- Calibrate measuring equipment including micrometres, verniers, and pressure gauges
- Maintain calibration records and procedures
- Monitor and report Standards Room temperature controls
- Support the Quality Department with additional tasks as requested by management
- Follow all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Previous experience in a Quality Control or Quality Inspection role
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Confident using measuring equipment and inspection tools
- Competent using company IT systems and Microsoft Office packages
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
