Recruitment are currently seeking Quality Control Technician x 3 to join our client’s team. Our client is an engineering business based in Norwich. This role offers 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Thu 7:45-16:30 with unpaid lunch break 12:30-13:00; Fri 7:45-12:15.

Quality Control Technician will take an active role within the Quality Department, ensuring product components are inspected to meet design requirements.

Key Requirements:
  • Carry out quality inspections accurately and within agreed timescales
  • Inspect purchased goods at supplier sites and upon receipt
  • Inspect in-house manufactured components and completed assemblies
  • Conduct inspections during build, final assembly, and on returned machines
  • Complete inspection paperwork and quality reports as required
  • Perform dimensional checks and investigations when needed
  • Calibrate measuring equipment including micrometres, verniers, and pressure gauges
  • Maintain calibration records and procedures
  • Monitor and report Standards Room temperature controls
  • Support the Quality Department with additional tasks as requested by management
  • Follow all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
