Position 1 Recruitment are delighted to be working with a manufacturing company, who are looking for a Design Draughtsman to join the team. You will work closely with contractors, architects and installation teams in a fast-paced environment, managing drawing packages from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce 2D AutoCAD drawings for bespoke window and curtain wall systems
- Prepare drawings and documentation for client approval
- Produce general arrangement and setting-out drawings for site use
- Extract dimensions and quantities from existing drawings
- Produce fabrication and cutting drawings for manufacture
- Revise drawings following client or engineering feedback
- Liaise with internal teams, clients and external consultants
- Ensure deadlines, design consistency and compliance with British Standards
