Position 1 Recruitment is currently seeking a Marine Diesel Engineer to join our clients engineering team, supporting a modern and diverse range of offshore vessels.
Permanent
Shift Pattern: 14 days on / 7 days off (option for 14/14 pro-rated salary). Travel and work across UK sites.

Key Responsibilities
- General vessel maintenance, inspections, and repairs
- Engine changes (MTU, MAN, Volvo Penta) – experience on these is essential
- Gearbox changes (Twindisc, Servogear)
- Fault-finding and repairs of electrical, hydraulic, and heating systems
- Flexible approach to working hours to meet operational requirements (including emergency repairs)
- Maintain and promote QHSE standards and a positive safety culture
You will need
- Previous experience as a service engineer, marine-related
- Experience on MTU, MAN, and Volvo Penta diesel engines
- Full, valid driving license
- Level 3 Diploma/NVQ Engineering or equivalent
