Head of Supply Chain / Permanent Position / Norwich / Salary Β£65,000 per annum Position 1 Recruitment are seeking a highly motivated Head of Supply Chain to join a dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional to advance their career while contributing to a fast-paced, hands-on environment within the oil and gas sector. This is a full-time, permanent role (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday. Benefits and Perks: β’ Annual Leave: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays. As Head of Supply Chain, you will oversee the strategy and day-to-day operations of the supply chain, including logistics, warehousing, and procurement. You will ensure materials and products are effectively planned, sourced, stored, and distributed to support the business. Logistics β’ Manage inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective transport solutions. β’ Optimise transport and distribution networks to achieve efficiency and sustainability targets. β’ Monitor carrier performance, freight costs, and ensure compliance with health & safety and regulatory requirements. Stores / Warehousing β’ Oversee the operation of stores and warehousing functions to ensure accurate stock control and inventory management. β’ Implement best practices in storage, handling, and materials flow to support production and sales. β’ Ensure systems and processes deliver accurate stock visibility and support business planning. People & Performance Management β’ Provide strong leadership, coaching, and development to the supply chain team. β’ Set and monitor departmental KPIs and report on supply chain performance to senior management. β’ Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability. The Head of Supply Chain candidate will have proven experience in a senior supply chain management role, covering procurement, logistics, and warehousing.
