Position 1 Recruitment is looking for an Electronics Design Engineer for our innovative client based in Great Yarmouth. Please note, this role does not offer sponsorship. Applicants must have full right to work in the UK without any restrictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electronic and embedded SONAR systems
  • Create schematics and multi-layer PCB designs
  • Test, troubleshoot, and carry out root cause analysis
  • Conduct design reviews and support continuous improvement
  • Produce technical documentation (BoMs, Gerbers, test procedures)
  • Support product integration, validation, and acoustic testing
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
  • Provide technical support to global customers (occasional travel required)

Requirements

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Electronic/Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years’ experience in electronics and embedded systems design
  • Experience with mixed-signal design, FPGA/SoC, and power systems
  • High-voltage or marine/SONAR experience
