P1 Recruitment is looking for a Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s industrial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive engineer with experience in maintaining and troubleshooting industrial machinery.
Location: Bury St Edmunds
Shift: Full-time, Panama shift (6am–6pm, days & nights)

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical production equipment
- Work with conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, drives, PLCs, and control panels
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and be flexible for on-call duties
Requirements:
- Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- Experience in heavy industrial maintenance
- Mechanical: conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics
- Electrical: PLCs, inverters, motors, wiring, control systems
- Knowledge of Health & Safety protocols (Lock Out/Tag Out, Safe Isolation, Working at Height, Permit to Work, Confined Space, ATEX/DSEAR)
