Position 1 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Customer Development Manager to join our client in Beccles. This role is with a well-known manufacturing company supplying products to the beauty retail and pharmaceutical sectors. The business is innovative and focused on developing high-quality products.

Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–5:00pm, Friday: 8:00am–4:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing and new business accounts to increase sales revenue and profitability
  • Develop new business through product extensions and product development
  • Focus on existing accounts and generate new business by actively managing intelligence and information
  • Proactively manage internal sales activities to target profitable accounts
  • Increase customer awareness of our full portfolio, supporting sales diversification across new services and products
  • Work collaboratively with the Customer Management team to maintain visibility of projects and new product development
  • Provide the Manager with information on new business opportunities across market sectors

You will need:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Experience in a sales role, including contacting potential new clients
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be accountable for actions
  • Highly motivated, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction
