Position 1 Recruitment are delighted to be working with a precision engineering company based in Great Yarmouth, who are looking for a skilled Toolmaker / Machinist to join the team. The successful candidate will have strong experience working with manual machines and demonstrate a high level of professionalism, precision, and teamwork.
Key Duties, Skills & Experience
- Proven experience operating manual machines, including Milling Machines, Centre Lathes, Surface Grinders, and Cylindrical Grinders.
- Experience with Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) is advantageous
- Proficient in the use of inspection equipment, with the ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Solid understanding of safety protocols and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Professional, reliable, and courteous attitude at all times.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
