Job Title: Proposal Engineer
Location: Great Yarmouth
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Circa £45,000 PA

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Proposal Engineer to join a growing engineering team working on bespoke equipment projects across various sectors including oil & gas and energy. This office-based role will suit someone with a proactive mindset and strong technical communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including cost estimates and scopes of work
• Interpret project specifications and develop P&IDs and GA drawings
• Liaise with clients and internal engineering teams to develop tailored solutions
• Source and review supplier quotations
• Support bid clarification and project kickoff meetings where needed

What We\’re Looking For:

• Experience preparing cost estimates for mechanical packages
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (CAD/SolidWorks knowledge Desirable)
• Understanding of industry standards and hazardous area compliance (ATEX/DNV)
• HND or equivalent in Engineering (Desirable)
