This is a full-time, permanent position 40hrs Monday to Friday Double day shifts of 06:00 14:00hrs & 14:00 to 22:00hrs on a 2-week rotating pattern

As aMachine Setters, you will be responsible to maintain automated machinery on site to the required standards. Ensure production is maintained at the desired quality levels, meeting the customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Change tools and designs on printing and blocking machines as per specifications.
- Service and prepare tooling for production.
- Set machines and replace ink supplies as needed.
- Diagnose and resolve machinery faults.
- Perform all quality and resistance checks before and during production.
- Clean and service machinery, including squeegee holders and spreaders; assist in workshop tasks as needed.
- Complete post-production tasks as required.
- Keep the department clean and safe during and after shifts.
- Handle necessary admin and reporting duties.
- Follow company quality standards.
- Follow all current legislation and company procedures, especially regarding Health & Safety, BRC, Quality, and Environmental Management.
- Maintain production at required quality levels to meet customer needs.
- Complete line clears before production; technician must sign off on the log sheet.
- Prepare materials and stay proactive to avoid downtime.
- Read program notes to ensure all additional instructions are followed.
SuccessfulMachine Setterswill have experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in setting up machines and performing tool changes. A good understanding of mechanical machine setting and fault finding is important for this role.
While an engineering qualification is preferred, it is not essential, we welcome applications from candidates with relevant hands-on experience.
