We are looking for an experienced Electrical, Instrumentation & Telecommunications (EIT) Engineering Team Leader to join a leading offshore engineering firm, specialising in minimum facility fixed platforms (unmanned/wellhead/satellite installations).
You will lead multi-discipline engineering projects, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and regulation compliant EIT systems across all design phases, from concept through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and oversee electrical systems (solar PV, battery, LV/HV distribution, Ex-rated equipment)
- Develop control systems (WHCP, SIS, ESD, FGS) and instrumentation packages
- Assist in telecoms design (SCADA, CCTV, VSAT, fibre, microwave)
- Manage EIT deliverables, interface across disciplines, and support construction/FAT/SAT
- Ensure full compliance with IEC, DSEAR/ATEX, and other offshore regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and drive quality across the team
- Hands-on experience with engineering software (e.g., ETAP)
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Proficiency in hazardous area design and functional safety standards
- Collaborative approach across structural, process, and mechanical disciplines
- HND or equivalent in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering (Essential)
- Degree-qualified, Chartered Engineer (Desirable)
