We are looking for a passionate & enthusiastic engineering apprentice to join our team. You will need to have good communication skills and be able to work well within a team. About our company:
Porvair Filtration Group , a wholly owned subsidiary of Porvair plc, is a specialist filtration and environmental technology group involved in developing, designing and manufacturing filtration and separation solutions to industry sectors such as aviation, molten metal, energy, water treatment, and life sciences markets.
Summary of the Apprentices Role:
Working with highly experienced engineers, you will gain experience in all aspects of product design and development. You will complete placements in all areas of the business, developing a complete understanding of how each function operates and interacts. In your final year, you will specialise; this could be Design, Research and Development, Manufacturing Engineering, or Quality/Procurement. You will attend day release at Chichester University to study for your BEng Degree.
What will the apprentice be doing?
- Product Design and Development
- Practical Hands-on product/material testing
Future Prospects for the applicant after completing the apprenticeship:
- Continuation of employment with the company with secondment opportunities to other sites within the group in America & Europe (International travel possible).
- Start Date – 22/09/2025
- Duration – 4 Years
- 38 Hours per week – Onsite in Segensworth, Fareham, Hampshire
- Salary – Up to £22K per annum
Essential Qualifications:
- 3 A Levels Grade C or above
Desirable Qualifications:
- HNC
- Maths A Level Grade C or above.

- Driving Licence
- ITAR Compliant (UK/EU Citizenship held only)
