PORTWEST, a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE is currently seeking applications for the position of M3 Specialist based remotely in the UK or Ireland. Alternatively, it can be based at our Thurnscoe site in the UK or in Westport, Ireland on a full-time permanent basis reporting to the ERP Solution Architect. Portwest is one of the fastest growing workwear companies in the world currently employing over 5,300 staff worldwide, with customer service staff in over 130+ countries and 11 Global warehouses in UK, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Spain, UAE, USA and Australia. We design, manufacture and distribute market leading workwear, safety wear and PPE in fully owned production facilities.
Job Summary
The M3 specialist will be responsible for supporting the global implementation of M3 and rollouts of new projects. This role will play a pivotal part by providing functional consultancy pertaining to core M3 and surrounding integrations. The M3 specialist will collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to streamline and optimize our supply chain, order processing, and business operations through effective functional consulting and problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional support of supply chain and order processing modules.
- Assist the integration team in design, implementation and support of ERP Integration solutions with partners, customers, and suppliers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess current business processes and recommend improvements.
- Provide functional consultancy from initiation to delivery, including requirements gathering, designing, configuring, testing, and deployment.
- Manage relationships with third party vendors to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met and optimized.
- Ensure that all ERP implementations and documentation comply with relevant industry standards, such as SOX (for finance), and other applicable regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.
- Producing design documents, specifications and user training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in functional consulting, preferably in a supply chain and distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Finance knowledge would be an added benefit.
- Working knowledge of MEC and ION Integration Toolset.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to lead cross functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across teams.
- Adaptability to changing technologies and environments.
