Job Summary:
We are seeking an accomplished Ecommerce & Marketplace Manager - Amazon Specialist to join our experienced, cohesive team and oversee a substantial portfolio—exceeding 15,000 ASINs per marketplace, with a primary focus on Amazon Vendor. This is a significant role requiring a proven professional with a steady career history, strong remote collaboration skills, and the ability to drive sales growth while managing complex priorities. You will enhance legacy listings, refine content, and shape our ecommerce strategy, working closely with a dedicated group of experts. - Advance Sales & Strategy: Lead sales growth initiatives and develop a comprehensive ecommerce and marketplace strategy, centred on Amazon Vendor, to support our annual and five-year objectives.
- Collaborate Effectively: Partner with Operations, Marketing, Commercial, Product, and Graphics teams, as well as external stakeholders, to produce engaging content that enhances sales and customer interaction.
- Optimize SEO & PPC: Formulate and execute SEO/PPC strategies and marketplace marketing plans to improve visibility and performance.
- Analyse & Act: Utilize platform analytics and internal data to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and implement commercially astute solutions that elevate revenue.
- Stay Informed: Maintain up-to-date expertise on ecommerce platforms, marketplace developments, and associated tools to ensure our strategies remain competitive.
- Manage Campaigns: Oversee all online activities related to PPC, sales, conversions, and testing, refining approaches to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Report & Recommend: Assess the performance of ecommerce and marketplace initiatives against sales, ROI, and KPI targets, providing detailed reports and actionable insights.
- Innovate Strategically: Propose and develop forward-thinking ecommerce and marketplace strategies, adapting historical practices to suit today’s digital landscape.
REQUIREMENTS:
To become the Ecommerce and Marketplace Manager - Amazon Specialist, you will need:
- Amazon Specialist: Demonstrated expertise with Amazon Vendor (or Seller, with support provided for transitioning), ideally with 2–5 years in a Marketplace Manager role in a B2B or DTC setting.
- Reliable Team Member: A consistent career track—no frequent job changes—and a strong ability to collaborate within a remote, high-performing team.
- Portfolio Expert: Experience managing large-scale, multi-marketplace portfolios, with the capacity to balance legacy enhancements and growth objectives.
- Technologically Proficient: Skilled with tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Google Ads, and Power BI, with experience leveraging AI for content or operational efficiency.
- Analytical Leader: Proficient in Excel (intermediate to advanced), with robust analytical skills and a history of delivering measurable sales and PPC success.
- Organized Multitasker: Adept at prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
- Platform Knowledgeable: Familiarity with Amazon Vendor/Seller, eBay, Walmart, keyword tools, repricing software, and integrations, plus an understanding of B2C/B2B selling and web analytics.
- Location Requirement: Reside within commuting distance of Manchester or Barnsley. M62 corridor.
- Qualified: Hold a degree in Digital Marketing, Business, or a related discipline—or possess equivalent professional experience.
- Desirable: Proficiency in French, German, Spanish, or Italian to support international efforts.
