Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining confidentiality; adhering to practice protocols/procedures.
  • Answering telephones.
  • Meeting/greeting and directing patients.
  • Booking/cancelling appointments.
  • Updating records on computer system, processing incoming/outgoing mail.
  • Email management, scanning documents, processing electronic mail/results.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must be flexible to cover colleague's annual leave/sick leave.
  • Experience in dealing with a high volume of telephone calls.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.

Further Information:

  • Probationary period of 6 months.
  • Hours of work: Wednesday 9am - 1pm; Thursday 9am - 5.30pm and Friday 9am - 5.30pm (one hour lunch break on Thursday & Friday).
  • Pension Scheme.
