The successful candidate will support Portsmouth Water’s Marketing and Communications team by helping deliver engaging campaigns across multiple channels. From social media content and website updates to events and customer communications, this role plays a key part in bringing our messages to life and ensuring clear, consistent communication with our customers and communities.
What will you be doing?
- Providing support to the full marketing & communications team
- Social media content co-ordination: working with the Brand & Campaigns Manager and Brand Design Lead to produce compelling and engaging social media content - maintaining a proactive content calendar
- Social media community co-ordination: Working with customer services to ensure all comments are responded to in a timely and appropriate way, monitoring local community groups for PW/ Havant Thicket Reservoir mentions, flagging any reputational risks to the Communications & Stakeholder Management team, ensuring we are reporting on all social media activity and sentiment
- Supporting the Communications & Engagement Officer with organising and attending face-to-face community engagement events
- Raising POs and tracking budgets for the full Marketing & Communications team
- Drafting copy for social media, website and a range of other channels
- Getting quotes and placing orders for print jobs, merchandise etc.
- Supporting the Customer Communications Manager with data processing and sending of customer communications campaigns as needed.
- Supporting the Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Executive with managing all shared inboxes Press office and Havant Thicket Reservoir.
- Making website content updates via our Content Management System for departments across the organisation
- Maintaining records of all marketing and communications activity to aid regulatory reporting
- Supporting the Brand & Campaigns Manager with the delivery of all marketing campaigns
