Portsmouth Water are looking for a Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Executive to work closely with the Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Manager to deliver impactful communications and engagement activities that support and promote our key strategic programmes. This role plays a vital part in building strong relationships with stakeholders and raising awareness of major projects, including the Havant Thicket Reservoir.
What will you be doing?
- Supporting the Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Manager with all aspects of media relations and stakeholder engagement.
- Communicating with all stakeholders in a way that positively promotes Portsmouth Water and the strategic programmes we are delivering, including Havant Thicket Reservoir, building lasting relationships.
- Organisation of all key stakeholder group meetings across the business, including the Havant Thicket Reservoir Stakeholder Advisory Group & sub‑groups, producing and circulating professional minutes, drafting presentation materials and tracking all actions to ensure they are completed.
- First point of contact for all customer and stakeholder enquiries associated with the Havant Thicket Reservoir project and responsible for drafting and issuing responses to these.
- Managing all shared inboxes (Press Office and Havant Thicket Reservoir) and drafting and co‑ordinating responses to stakeholders, coordinating with our contractors Future Water and Ward & Burke.
