At Portsmouth Water, we’re embarking on an exciting transformation to embed industry-leading asset management practices across our organisation, and we’re looking for an Asset Management Lead to help shape the way forward. This is a pivotal role at the heart of our business, offering the opportunity to influence how we manage and optimise our assets for the future.
As our Asset Management Lead, you will oversee our Asset Management Maturity Strategic Programme, coordinating multiple workstreams and supporting their successful delivery. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you’ll build strong relationships that enable cross-functional working and contribute to lasting, positive change, helping us achieve excellence in asset management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of Portsmouth Water’s Strategic Programme for Asset Management Maturity.
- Develop and maintain asset management processes, engaging stakeholders across the business to embed a Systems Thinking approach, with particular focus on governance and alignment to industry best practice and ISO55001.
- Ensure asset management practices align with the overall business strategy for asset management and asset data governance.
- Support the development and maintenance of the Asset Management Strategy, including working with teams across the business to develop capabilities, governance structures, guidance and processes that enable effective asset management within the organisation.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align asset management goals with organisational objectives.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of asset lifecycle strategies.
- Promote best practices in asset management data and analysis.
- Monitor the effectiveness of asset management processes to support consistent application across the business.
- Develop reporting approaches and KPIs to evaluate and improve asset management processes.
- Support the continuous improvement of asset management practices at Portsmouth Water.
- Develop approaches to assess maturity against industry best practice.
