At Portsmouth Water, we are seeking a Network Engineer who is committed to building and maintaining secure, resilient, and innovative network solutions. As part of our expanding IT team, we re looking for a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join us. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting both traditional and cloud-based network environments, with a particular focus on Fortinet technologies and network security. If you are ready to make an impact, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities

Maintain secure network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls and security appliances
Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues
Support cloud networking (Azure) and hybrid connectivity
Implement and maintain network security measures

Qualifications

Hands‑on experience with Fortinet technologies
Strong knowledge of traditional networking
Experience with cloud networking
Experience with network security, firewalls, and access control
Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
Relevant certifications are desirable
