The Portsmouth Marriott Hotel is looking for a Front Desk Associate to join the Front Desk team
We are looking for an enthusiastic Front Desk Associate wanting to assist in ensuring all our guests have a wonderful stay at the world leading hospitality company Portsmouth Marriott Hotel. Located near famous landmarks such as the Spinnaker Tower has a range of amenities including: Cast Iron Bar & Grill, our signature restaurant and fitness centre.

As the Front Desk Associate you will…
- Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key.
- Confidently all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
- Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
- Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy. Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
- Count bank at the beginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.

- Strong Communication skills & interpersonal skills
- Excellent level of spoken and written English

- Able to work independently and within a team
