Please note, some out of office hours and occasional travel may be required across the Diocese.
Role Purpose
As a key member of the Communications and Fundraising team, the Fundraising Officer supports the key strategic goal of growing voluntary income across the Diocese, including acting as an advisory service to parishes seeking grant funding for local projects, compiling and submitting funding applications and supporting business cases, and working closely with parishes to implement local stewardship and other promotional campaigns. The postholder will work closely with colleagues in the Communications Team and across the Curia to support the Diocesan 10-year Mission Plan. This is an exciting time to join our friendly, busy, and supportive team as we implement our 10-year Mission Plan, shaping the future of our Diocese and the communities we serve. Covering Hampshire, Berkshire, South Oxford, and the Channel Islands, our Diocese is home to 87 parishes and 50 schools, serving over 27,000 practising Catholics and supporting 32,000 children and their families. Our work is both challenging and deeply rewarding, offering the opportunity to be part of something truly meaningful.
