The Rough Sleeping Hub offers help for people who are street homeless or at risk of becoming street homeless. The Hub provides a safe space open 8am‑4pm, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Services include breakfast, hot drinks, shower and laundry facilities, lockers, computers, internet access, healthcare support and on‑site Homeless Health care professionals. Service users can also receive housing advice, use the building as a care address, support with benefits, bank accounts, general guidance and sign‑posting to other services based on their personal situation.
Responsibilities:
- Staff the Hub as part of a small team reporting to the Senior Rough Sleeping Hub Support Worker.
- Ensure rough sleepers have access to the Hub’s facilities and services.
- Work on a rota that covers the Hub’s seven‑day, eight‑hour provision including bank holidays.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and high‑standard Hub environment.
