Devonshire Infant School is looking for a cheerful and committed person to join our friendly, supportive team for 15 hours per week, term-time only, working Monday to Friday from 8.30-11.30 am to primarily provide support in ordering school dinners, maintaining registers, following up on pupil absence and to provide additional admin support in our busy school office.

Devonshire is an inclusive and diverse two form entry infant school in Southsea. We are strongly committed to the best possible outcomes for all children through a nurturing, supportive environment with high expectations and challenge. This is a brand-new role which will initially be on a fixed term contract for 1 year but is highly likely to become permanent for the right person and with the opportunity for career progression.

Experience of working in a school would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given. The successful applicant will need to have excellent all-round administration, IT and communication skills, be flexible, able to work under pressure and have a calm, approachable demeanour plus a good sense of humour!
