Portsmouth Music Service is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Guitar and Ukulele Teacher to inspire young musicians across primary and secondary schools. In this rewarding role, you will deliver engaging and high-quality music lessons to small groups, whole classes, and individual pupils, helping to develop their musical ability and confidence.
The Role
- Teach guitar and ukulele to pupils in line with the National Curriculum Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons.
- Assess, record, and report on pupil progress.
- Build strong working relationships with partner schools.
- Maintain a safe, positive learning environment.
- Take part in training, appraisal, and professional development.
- Follow Portsmouth Music Service and Council policies and procedures.
