St Jude’s Primary are looking to recruit a motivated, focussed, well-organised and engaging Cover Supervisor to join the team from September. This post would be ideal for either; a qualified teacher seeking a more relaxed role in education, a Pre-ECT teacher taking time before starting their teaching career or an experienced Cover Supervisor or HLTA who would like to develop their school experience.

Are you keen to join a supportive, driven and friendly team of teachers and support staff? Do you have:

•Excellent literacy and numeracy skills

•A flexible, positive attitude and strong classroom presence

•Understanding of how to support students with differing levels of ability and needs

•Ability to maintain high standards of behaviour and learning in a classroom environment

If so, then please get in touch.

St Jude’s will offer you an excellent induction with genuine, committed staff to support you in your new post. Our children have an enthusiasm for their learning. We love the opportunities for both staff and pupils that the Cover Supervisor post offers and have been running a Cover Supervisor System for some years now – with great benefit.

The successful candidate will be required to cover teaching across the primary phase, sometimes at short notice. The successful candidate may be required to cover support staff or 1-1 absence or to work on a separate project.

If you would like more information or a visit please do get in touch, we are excited to show off our school.

St Jude’s CE Primary School is committed to creating and sustaining a diverse and inclusive workforce that represents our context and wider community. We are aware that those of United Kingdom Minority Ethnic/Global Majority Heritage and disabled people are currently under-represented among our staff, and we particularly encourage applications from those with the relevant skills and experience that will increase this representation. The appointment will of course be based on merit alone.

PCC & St Jude’s CE Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. DBS Disclosure at Enhanced level, and any other background checks, including overseas checks will be required prior to any offer of employment.
