We are currently looking to recruit a clerk to the governors to join our friendly governing body. Our governors come from a range of different backgrounds, skills and experience but all share a common interest of wanting the best possible education for the children in our school and Pre-School.

- Good IT skills and experience of using Microsoft 365
- The ability to produce concise, accurate minutes
- Good time management skills to ensure timely circulation of information
As part of this role you will be required to:
- Be well organised, flexible and reliable
- Provide high quality administrative support
- Attend all governing body meetings which take place during Tuesday evenings (5-7.30pm) – 5 meetings a year
- Advise the governing body on matters of procedure, and to maintain policies and records
Training and support for the role are available to help build knowledge of governing body processes and procedures. The school is also happy to support and fund accreditation for those interested in gaining a formal qualification.
