Are you looking for a varied and rewarding role where you can use your excellent customer service skills to support a busy team?

As an ASC Income Coordinator you will provide technical, financial and skilled administrative support to the Adult Social Care Income team. You will manage regular administrative tasks such as taking calls and handling clients queries. You will reconcile client accounts to ensure clients and/or their representatives understand the client charges raised and ensure ASC invoices are accurate each month. You will need a strong attention to detail as you will be taking queries and booking appointments in relation to financial assessments, processing incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining electronic and paper records and files and typing and sending letters. This is a varied and rewarding role where great communication skills make a real difference to the people we support. This role will be solely based at the Civic Offices 5 days per week while you learn and develop the skills required.

Who is the person:

With excellent customer service skills and experience of working in a finance environment, you will have a high standard of literacy and numeracy as well as an understanding of the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005. With working experience of office procedures and strong IT skills, you will have a strong attention to detail, good analytical skills, a flexible approach to work and the ability to work on your own initiative and plan and prioritise your work. In addition, you will have excellent written communication skills, including letter writing and note taking and a solid understanding of GDPR and how to work within this legislation.
