We are seeking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to join our friendly team who work in the school office. As the βfaceβ of the school, we are looking for someone that is welcoming with a bright and bubbly personality, helpful and able to represent the school in a professional and friendly manner.
The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm, resilience, initiative and patience alongside excellent time management skills. They will be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team and will be confident working with children.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Competence in the use of office-based ICT programmes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A clear understanding of the need to always maintain confidentiality.
- The ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure with interruptions.
- An understanding of statutory requirements relating to safeguarding, child protection and health and safety.
- First Aid qualification is desirable but full training will be provided.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
Duties will include:
- Effectively maintaining administration systems within the school.
- Providing reception service and answering and directing telephone enquiries from staff, pupils, parents and the general public.
- Administering first aid and medicines to the children.
