Programme Manager - Local Regeneration Fund (LRF)
Grade 10 - Gosport Borough Council
Fixed term contract until the 31st March 2028
Salary: £51,356- £54,495
An exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of Gosport Borough Council’s £18 million Local Regeneration Fund (LRF) (formerly Levelling Up Fund) programme: Reconnecting Historic Gosport Waterfront.
Reporting to the Head of Economic Development & Regeneration, you will manage the programme from final delivery planning through to completion and closure (funding secured to March 2028). You will oversee governance, budgets, risk and reporting, ensuring compliance with MHCLG grant requirements while delivering high-quality regeneration outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead programme delivery and implementation
- Manage budgets, risk, reporting, and governance
- Coordinate projects and external partners
- Commission and manage consultants and contractors
- Engage stakeholders including government, Members, and local partners
About you
Programme/project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2/APM) or equivalent experience
Proven experience delivering complex programmes on time and budget
Strong skills in stakeholder management, reporting, and risk management
Experience of procurement and managing external partners
37 hours per week | Flexitime | Politically restricted post
Play a key role in delivering a transformational waterfront regeneration programme for Gosport.
