We are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to join our Public Spaces Team working within the parks and open spaces section of the Council and reporting to the Public Spaces Operations Manager. The role includes setting out work programmes and supervising a team of 25 Grounds Maintenance operatives, ensuring Health and Safety and safe working procedures are in place and responsibility for ensuring vehicles and equipment are regularly maintained.

The successful candidate will need to have a full current driving license and will have access to a work vehicle for work use only. The service has a significant contribution to make in achieving the Council’s priorities of making Gosport a cleaner and greener place to live and in providing great facilities for play, sports and leisure.
