Job Description
Job Title: FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
Hours: 37 Hours per week
Salary: £58,166 - £61,598
Do you want to be part of an experienced Finance Team, working proactively in Local Government to provide high-quality financial data to both external and internal stakeholders?
Are you a Qualified Accountant with experience in producing year-end and statutory returns? Do you have a focus on accuracy and process improvement?
Are you seeking a role with variety, where your expertise in all financial aspects within a small local government team is valued?
As a senior member of the finance team, you will demonstrate competence in handling diverse, complex issues and communicate effectively with officers, Councillors, and external bodies.
This role offers the opportunity to utilize your experience and current knowledge in delivering high-quality financial reports to a broad audience. You will be involved in significant projects and play a key role in achieving Gosport Borough Council\'s priorities while ensuring sound governance.
