Amazing Thatched Community Pub

The Portsmouth Arms was built in 1997 under a stunning 90 tonne thatched roof. The interior of the pub combines a fabulous traditional dining room with more informal dining areas for eating, together with a cosy and comfortable bar with relaxed seating, and a separate outside patio. The large garden has seating for around 50 and an extensive children’s play area – perfect for the longer spring and summer evenings.

We’re growing our kitchen team and looking for an experienced CDP, Section Chef or Line Chef to jump in and help us keep the good stuff coming. If you love great food, enjoy a buzzing service, and want to work with a genuinely supportive crew, this could be your next spot.
