We are looking for our first Sales Executive based in Europe to drive our expansion across the EU region. This is a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on Portside’s international growth, working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Job Summary
As the first Sales Executive focused on the EU market, you will be responsible for establishing and growing Portside’s customer base across the region. You’ll take ownership of the full sales cycle, from identifying prospects to closing deals, across a portfolio of aviation software products—including the Aircraft Owner Portal, Fleet & Crew Optimization, and our Flight Management Systems.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role ideal for a self-starter with strong aviation industry knowledge and a successful track record in SaaS sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline across the EU business aviation market.
- Lead discovery calls, product demos, and commercial negotiations with operators, flight departments, and management companies.
- Sell across our product suite:
- Owner Portal: Communicate the value of real-time financials, reporting, and owner engagement.
- Fleet & Crew Optimization: Demonstrate efficiencies in scheduling, utilization, and cost control.
- Flight Management Systems: Highlight operational gains in dispatch, trip planning, and crew coordination.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in SaaS sales, ideally with exposure to aviation, fleet management, or related enterprise software.
- Deep understanding of business aviation workflows and customer pain points in the EU.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish) are a strong plus.
- Comfortable operating independently as a first-in-region sales hire.
- Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Strong consultative selling and presentation skills.
