Our client is keen to onboard a Technical Business Analyst - Dynamics 365 Marketing to join their team in London, UK in a hybrid working mode. This role acts as a bridge between business, product, and engineering teams, translating business requirements into technically viable solutions and guiding stakeholders through short-term workarounds and long-term platform evolution. The successful candidate will provide functional-technical analysis, recommendations and coordination across distributed teams to ensure clarity and predictability in delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements for Dynamics 365 Marketing, including customer journeys, forms, emails, lead management and campaign orchestration.
  • Assess out-of-the-box capabilities against customization needs and define short-term (configuration-based) and long-term (custom/architecture) solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams to clarify requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Develop functional-technical recommendations and document solution decisions with clear rationale.
  • Identify technical approaches at a conceptual level (e.g., use of Flows, plugins, JavaScript) without direct coding responsibility.
  • Support governance by refining backlogs, sequencing requirements and contributing to estimation.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects and delivery teams in a high-change, resource-constrained program environment.
  • Provide impact analysis, constraints assessment and trade-off recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Functional Technical Analyst in Dynamics 365 projects.
  • Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Marketing features (customer journeys, campaign orchestration, forms, segmentation, lead management).
  • Familiarity with functional vs technical solution design in enterprise-scale programs.
  • Ability to work effectively with distributed or offshore development teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across business and technical teams.
  • Experience navigating complex, high-priority programs with multiple dependencies.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Power Platform components, including Power Automate.
  • Understanding of integration with CRM and marketing automation solutions.
  • Familiarity with Azure services from a functional perspective.
