We are looking for an experienced Finastra Tester to support a banking client on an initial 3-4 month contract.
The successful candidate will have strong testing experience within a core banking environment, ideally with hands‑on exposure to Finastra Essence and/or Finastra Equation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, integration, regression and end‑to‑end testing across core banking applications.
- Test functionality within Finastra Essence and/or Equation.
- Create and execute test cases, test scripts and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
- Identify, document and manage defects through to resolution.
- Work closely with business analysts, developers and banking SMEs.
- Support UAT and wider testing activities as required.
- Ensure testing meets agreed quality standards and project timelines.
- Key Requirements
- Strong experience as a Tester / QA Analyst within banking or financial services.
- Hands‑on experience with Finastra Essence and/or Finastra Equation is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of core banking systems and processes.
- Experience across functional, integration, regression and end‑to‑end testing.
- Strong defect management and test documentation experience.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast‑paced project environment.
