Our client is a global engineering and professional services organisation undergoing a significant finance transformation programme following recent investment and organisational change. Having grown through both acquisition and organic expansion, the business has a complex landscape of finance systems and technologies internationally. The organisation is now investing in the consolidation and modernisation of its global finance technology estate. We are seeking an experienced Lead Solution Architect to play a key role in defining and delivering the future‑state architecture across ERP, finance and supporting business systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead solution architecture across a global finance systems transformation.
  • Define how Oracle R12 and wider finance platforms should integrate across the business.
  • Review proposed solutions and challenge where designs do not fit the overall architecture.
  • Define integration points, database mapping, data flows and single sources of truth.
  • Provide architectural input across treasury, consolidation, payroll, time recording, expenses and supplier management systems.
  • Work with cybersecurity teams to ensure proposed solutions are secure.

Essential Experience

  • Strong Solution Architecture, Integration Architecture or Enterprise Architecture experience.
  • Oracle R12 experience, ideally in an on‑premise environment.
  • Finance systems transformation experience.
  • ERP architecture and enterprise application integration experience.
  • Treasury and/or financial consolidation systems experience.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, integration points, database mapping and single source of truth principles.
  • Enterprise Architecture framework knowledge and experience applying architecture governance.
  • Experience working in complex, global organisations with fragmented systems and processes.

Contract Details

  • Initial 12-month contract
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Occasional travel to London, UK may be required (1-2 times per month max)
